=ALU is an excellent utility to store numerous files into one =
;file for archive purposes or for transfer over the modem. >
<On the modem it saves downloading numerous files that might
make up one program or disk.
;I have included a "STARTUP" file on the disk also to allow <
:you to make a self booting ALU disk. Arrange the disk as
follows:
1. Format a disk in PRODOS and call it "ALU".
=2. Using your SYSTEM UTILITIES disk or PRODOS USERS disk, 3
copy the files PRODOS and BASIC.SYSTEM to it.
=3. Using your SYSTEM UTILITIES disk or PRODOS USERS disk, :
copy the files STARTUP and ALU from this disk to it.
4. Reboot the system with the ALU disk in the boot drive.
The catalog of your ALU disk should look like this:
PRODOS
BASIC.SYSTEM
STARTUP
Be sure to review the ALU.DOC.AW file before proceeding!
